 *Social and Moral Development

Your child will learn social skills to become a well-rounded citizen through interacting with other students. They will learn this not by instruction, but by everyday routine exposure. Kids will learn to respect other cultures as well as Korean culture by their exposure to different foreign teachers, whose unique use of English will enrich your child's language experience.

*School Rally

The School Rally gives students a sense of Community while promoting  positive values of interdependence. Individual students are recognized for outstanding accomplishments at school and in the community.

*Language Program

Language Arts is based on language development and literacy of English, Chinese and Korean languages. The Kindergarten program is a wealth of language-oriented  activities intended to extend language experience, develop vocabulary, and provide  the foundations for reading and writing.

*Math

Math is a hands-on experiential learning program at the Sullivan School, integrated with other subjects across the curriculum in the same way that Math is a daily part of our lives.

 *Science

Science is based on an experimental approach using the scientific method. Children engage their natural curiosity and develop critical thinking skills.

*Creative Arts

Sully Kids express themselves creatively through arts and crafts. They are given the freedom to explore and encouraged to develop decision-making skills.

*Field Trips

Following themes explored in the curriculum, our students go on a minimum of two field trips every month. Exploring the world outside the classroom stimulates children in all areas of their development.

*Cooking

The Sullivan School is unique in that cooking facilities are widely available in the classroom. Cooking is an excellent tool incorporating many academic disciplines, as well as encouraging Social engagement and household responsibility.

*Physical Education

The most important activity for this age group should be physical movement. Children can explore their world and their own bodies by using different muscle groups. The slide, steps, rocking bar, swings, balancing bar, ball and many more will be provided for this activity. Children will also have Action Play, Swimming, Gymnastics and seasonal sports as an outside classroom activity.

*Music

Music plays an important role in the development of language and literacy by reinforcing the basis of pattern and rhythm. Music also engages students in an emotional relation to the world around them.

*Drama

Sullivan School students engage in a variety of drama experiences. Drama encourages expression and relation and allows children to demonstrate individuality.

*Animals and Nature

The Sullivan School takes advantage of children's inherent fascination with animals and Nature. Our children go on field trips, but we also have animals and plants at our school. They are used, among other things, as a basis for emotional comfort and satisfaction as children learn responsibility and empathy.
